![]() ![]() Look at how slow your speeds were at the start of last gen. People complaining about Internet speeds if we eventually go download only. People saying they’re put off the PlayStation 4 due to slow PlayStation Network speeds and lack of background downloading even though it’s clear (partly because Sony have even stated as much) that things will be much improved next gen. Really don’t get why people don’t see that technology improves over time. Nintendo had conquered those problems by the time they made Ocarina, though. I can appreciate the impact Super Mario 64 had at the time and there were moments of magic (including the brilliant ‘obstacle courses’ between levels), but it had already aged by the time I played it. I remember one notorious room to the left of the castle entrance – where you’re viewed from a distant camera on a pathway above a long sloping drop – invoking much rage at the unfairness of it all! ![]() The controls weren’t tight enough and the camera was especially awful, rendering some sections practically unplayable. Maybe it was because I played Banjo-Kazooie first, but I struggled with Super Mario 64. I can see where you’re coming from regarding Super Mario 64, though. I can’t compare it to the 2D Zelda games because I owned a Mega Drive growing up and haven’t gotten around to playing them yet. ![]() With the possible exception of muddy textures, Zelda: Ocarina Of Time doesn’t suffer from any of the issues you mentioned. GC: We’re pretty sure the patch came out back in March? Assuming our sanity holds up long enough to finish it…Ĭan GC tell me when the reset outpost patch is out for Far Cry 3? Really need a reason to play it again but with a game completed and no enemies I get bored too easily! Also can you guys do a review of Ride To Hell: Retribution?! I watched a walkthrough video on YouTube and its probably the worst game I have seen come out on this gen period! It’s so bad its hilarious… please check it out… maybe Mr Pinkerton can review it! GC: It won’t surprise you to learn we weren’t sent a review copy, but we’ve got a hold of one anyway and are currently working on a review. ![]()
